Philo (2023)

Philo was a SAAS product including a Microsoft add-in for Outlook that aimed to enhance email productivity. Philo leveraged machine learning algorithms to provide email summarization capabilities. It automatically condensed incoming emails into concise summaries, particularly highlighting actionable tasks. These tasks were converted into a checklist format, facilitating easy tracking and completion.

Philo demonstrated its proficiency by intelligently processing email attachments, categorizing them accurately. Additionally, it introduced a seamless integration with users' internal order systems. This allowed users to link emails with specific order numbers, streamlining their workflow. The system's search functionality was also expanded, enabling users to locate orders through various identifiers like order ID, address, or loan number.

Attachments management was a key feature of Philo, enabling users to upload attachments to their internal systems effortlessly. The ability to preview these attachments within the add-in enhanced user convenience. The project extended its capabilities to generating email template replies, facilitating prompt and consistent responses.

Philo was designed with versatility in mind, accommodating both individual and group email contexts. Notably, the application prioritized performance by employing caching techniques through React Query. This ensured smooth operation and rapid access to cached data, contributing to a seamless user experience.
