DomaClose (2022)
In the course of this project, I played a pivotal role in the development of Doma Close, a web portal tailored for the convenience of Escrow Officers, Real Estate Agents, and Sales Representatives. The primary aim of Doma Close was to provide these users with a vastly improved interface compared to the offerings of existing solutions like ResWare or SoftPro.
By leveraging user-centric design principles, Doma Close significantly reduced the complexity involved in order management. This was achieved by simplifying the order submission and tracking processes, ensuring that users with varying levels of expertise could seamlessly navigate the platform. The portal's intuitive user experience effectively streamlined tasks and activities, drastically cutting down the time required for order management tasks.
Key features of Doma Close included a comprehensive list view of orders, complete with sorting and filtering options for enhanced visibility. Users gained the ability to delve into the specifics of each order, tracking its progress through the system and identifying outstanding tasks necessary for completion. The platform's interactive nature also facilitated the uploading of pertinent documents directly to the corresponding orders.
Furthermore, Doma Close introduced an efficient order creation mechanism, empowering users to initiate new orders effortlessly. The emphasis on responsive design ensured that the platform was accessible and functional across a spectrum of devices, spanning mobile phones, tablets, and desktop computers.
Throughout the project, my contributions were instrumental in shaping Doma Close into a powerful tool that not only simplified order management but also fostered a sense of user empowerment and efficiency among Escrow Officers, Real Estate Agents, and Sales Representatives.
